Wed9 Nov 2011 19:09. 1.4 TDI - Skoda Fabia - bazza. They certainly are not bullet-proof, as a quick look on a forum like Briskoda will reveal. And also the 1.4 tdi - so I believe- has a chain driven balancer shaft which can fail with expensive consequences, according to posts on there and other VAG forums.
